Common use
Carbidopa + Levodopa is a combination medication used to treat symptoms of Parkinson’s disease such as tremors, stiffness, and slow movement. Levodopa is converted into dopamine in the brain, helping to improve movement and coordination. Carbidopa prevents levodopa from breaking down before it reaches the brain, reducing side effects like nausea. This combination is considered one of the most effective therapies for managing Parkinson’s motor symptoms.

Dosage and direction
The medication is typically taken orally in tablet form, with dosages tailored to individual response and disease progression. Missed dose

Overdose symptoms may include severe confusion, irregular heartbeat, hallucinations, or uncontrollable movements. In extreme cases, it may lead to coma or respiratory depression. Storage
Store the medication at room temperature between 20°C and 25°C (68°F and 77°F), away from light and moisture. Keep it tightly sealed in its original container. Do not use after the expiration date. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
